Did you know this about the Spanish passport?

Did you know Spanish passports grant holders visa-free entry to more countries and territories in the world than almost any other? Noted as one of the most “powerful” in the world, according to The Henley Passport Index, the Spanish passport offers visa-free entry to 189 countries and territories. By comparison, US passports allow visa-free access to 185, while Canadian and Australian passports grant entry to 184 countries and territories.

Of the European passports, only the German outperforms the Spanish, offering one additional destination. In fact, the Spanish passport ranks third in the world sharing in a four-way tie with Italy, Finland and Luxembourg. All other passports provide fewer options than the Spanish.

Want to know which passports are the most powerful in the world? According to the Henley Passport Index they are (as of the fourth quarter 2021, calculations not considering temporary restrictions imposed due to the covid-19 pandemic) the Japanese (192) and Singaporean (192) passports followed by the German (190) and South Korean (190).
