The Regions – basic information

Do you know the capital cities of each of the Spanish regions? When their regional days are? The size of their populations or geographical area? Or people’s average income? Did you know that not all of the regions have a formally designated capital?

Additionally, Spain has two enclaves on the northern coast of Africa named Ceuta and Melilla. These are most often described as autonomous city areas and are not in themselves regions.

Here is a quick overview of the basic information for each of the regions in Spain.
