According to an article in El País, the national average rents have started to fall for the first time in years. Although rents in the big cities have fallen for a while due to the pandemic and restrictions imposed, the effects can now be seen nationally as well. January of 2021 is the first month to register this change.
Real Estate portal Idealista states that the average rental price in Spain, in January 2021, is about €11. That’s a drop of 0,1% compared to January 12 months earlier. A small change, but a shift nonetheless.
